STEPPED RIGID BEAM
The beam slideways are designed with a combination of horizontal and vertical slideways which provides higher rigidity of 25% than that of conventional slideways design with two slideways in parallel. The upper and lower slideways are stepping structure with 300 mm. position difference. The outstanding slideway design effectively reduces torque created by the spindle stock and cutting force, while assuring greater cutting force.

SUPERIOR LINEAR GUIDE WAYS

  • X, Y axis employs advanced, low friction heavy duty type linear motion guides with several slide blocks for uniform loading, no deformation, high speed travel, high positioning accuracy and maximum durability. The square guideways on Z-axis provides outstanding anti-vibration performance.
  • X-axis on DM25 and DM30 series machines is equipped with 3 linear motion guides for uniform support. It eliminates deformation or displacement problems due to uneven workpiece positioning or unblanced loading.

DOUBLE CYLINDER COUNTER-BALANCING SYSTEM
The specially-designed double cylinder counter-balancing system for the spindle stock assures maximum movement smoothness on Z-axis.

HIGH PRECISION

Pretensioned class C3 precision ball screws on 3 axes upgrade rigidity of servo system, eliminate displacement problems due to thermal expansion, while ensuring machine accuracy at all times. Sealed bearings combined with oil seals to fully avoid dust and coolant ensures long service life and accuracy.

TWO-STEP GEAR VARIABLE SPINDLE SPEEDS

The spindle is driven by a high torque powerful servomotor and power transmitted by the German ZF 2-step gearbox . The high/low speed range makes the machine ideal for high torque, heavy duty machining at low speed and high precision machining at high speed.

AUTOMATIC LUBRICATION SYSTEM

The machine employs a high pressure forced lubrication system in conjunction with a volumetric oil distributor. When full pressure is reached, all positions are lubricated properly. A feedback system equipped on the oil tube detects if oil delivery pressure is affected by jamming or leaking. This assures proper lubricaion on all positions.
Lubrication oil on three axes can be collected individually to avoid mixing with cutting fluid. It not only extends cutting fluid life, but also meets environmental protection requirements.

OIL COOLING SYSTEM

The adjustable cooling system provides cooling for spindle oil and circulation oil in ZF 2-step gearbox. The outstanding cooling system effectively reduces gear temprerature, ensures gearbox and spindle service life and long term accuracy.

COOLANT NOZZLE ANGLE ADJUSTMENT

The coolant nozzle angle is conveniently adjusted on the control panel to suit various tool diameters and lengths. This function provides a superior cooling effect and extends cutter life.

MACHINING VERSATILITY

The machine is available to equip with manual 90° angular head, extension head and universal head for flexible machining requirements.
